This is the workshop recap from the "Balboa Footwork Frenzy" workshop at You Should Be Dancing Studios. All material focused on solo balboa footwork variations, styling, and expression.

Foot position, posture, and weight distribution
Gathers and hip swing (tick tocks)

3 styles of basic pure bal footwork:
-Trotting/Stepping basic
-Shag-like (pull back basic)
-Sliding/Smooth/Fan basic
We also had the option of partner work with one person influencing the other dancer.

Sweep, tap, brush, step (5,6,and,7,8) basic

Circle slides (solo an partnered practice)
