This Is Only $2?! 🙀 Revisiting Kimono Cats (Version 1.3 Completed Bubble Album)

Kimono Cats (on Apple Arcade) was updated to version 1.3. Although, that was a while ago. Even though I enjoyed playing the game, I didn't try the update right away. I had cancelled my Apple Arcade subscription because I didn't think it was a good enough value.

Kimono Cats proves it by launching on the Nintendo Switch. When this video was published, the game was on sale — only $1.99.

So, why bother with Apple Arcade? Well, it's a lot like the experience of the golden age of arcades. It's nice playing exclusive games and content before it reaches consoles.

Yet, this shows a tremendous problem with Apple Arcade. Is it better to just ignore the subscription service? While I've played Mini Motorways, Skate City, and Crossy Road Castle, with a Nintendo Switch I don't have to rent these games. I could play them indefinitely.

Yet, there has been a lot of exclusive content on Apple Arcade. It's been fun. Back in the days of the NES and Super Nintendo, I spent way more money in the arcades and on video game rentals. Is Apple Arcade not worth $50 a year? Well, the problem is that it doesn't lead to building up a gaming library. The subscription service didn't let me buy a copy of game outright.

Also, why is Kimono Cats so cheap?! Is the game not popular? I'm not seeing a lot of chatter about this new game. Do people not like sugary sweet games? Do they not like games about two cats falling in love and building a magnificent village?

Well, I liked game. After completing the Bubble album and building a magnificent village, the experience was enjoyable.
