Most creators only post in English on Pinterest, and because of that, they completely ignore a massive global audience 🌍 In this video, I break down whether you should target other languages on Pinterest, how big the opportunity actually is, and when it makes sense to go outside the English-speaking market.

Pinterest is used in many countries, not just the US. There are millions of users in places like Germany, Spain, France, Poland, Brazil, and other non-English markets who are searching for content in their own language. Because there are fewer creators producing content for those audiences, the competition is much lower — which means you can often rank faster and grow easier. So if English is not your first language, this might be a smarter path than forcing yourself into the most competitive segment of Pinterest.

However, there is one major downside you need to be aware of: ad revenue. US traffic earns the highest RPMs, and European traffic usually pays much less. I’ve tested this on one of my own sites, so I’ll show you what to expect and what the trade-offs are. The good news is that if you monetize with digital products, printables, or your own offers, the language you pick matters far less — and a non-English niche can still perform really well.
