Something Has Gone Wrong With My “The Citizen” AQ4091…7 Months After Getting It…

When it comes to everyday GADA (go anywhere, do anything) watches, we have a whole bunch of options such as the Rolex Oyster Perpetual, Omega Aqua Terra, many Grand Seikos, and Tudors as well. However, Citizen with their Ecodrive movements are also in the conversation because of their everlasting solar quartz dependability. At the top of the Citizen heap is the watch I bought 7 months ago: “The Citizen” AQ4091-56E.

It's a truly incredible watch that feels even better on the wrist due to the titanium build and inside it has one of the best quartz movements I’ve ever experienced with an accuracy range of +/-5 seconds per year. However, I started to notice that something was going wrong.

So in this video I'm going to go over what exactly is wrong with my The Citizen, and what I’m planning to do about it but I want to hear from you guys about whether its worth fixing now and of course what all of your experiences have been with warranty work and servicing watches because as you’ll see the decision is not as clear cut as I’d like it to be.

And as I go through everything I’ll get into my thoughts on what sorts of issues constitute a problem for me what my threshold for imperfection is and what i think of the whole service your watch every 5 years advice
