The challenge with the bulk of my existing musket props (mostly dummy, one blank firing) is that they're long, and mostly wood and metal, so therefore heavy and expensive to ship. But whether you're doing a Three Musketeers, or Treasure Island, or Les Mis, or a dozen other such shows, you'll likely need something like these. Could 3D printing provide shorter and lighter (and therefore cheaper to ship) options?
Looking briefly at a new airsoft gas version (for smoke effect potential) and some 3d printed options in matchlock, flintlock, and wheel-lock versions (designs by CarneyRex, also NERF guns).
I forgot to mention, another experiment currently printing is a cap-firing version of the flintlock mechanism for the CarneyRex models.
Link to the initial wheel lock video at the end.
