Finally my dream came true. The long cherished dream of visiting Ladakh became a reality. It was a Group Tour of a Travel Company. We three Friends (Idiots) alongwith our better halves were part of it.
The Flight from Delhi to Leh was a fascinating journey.. never saw the mountains so close and the Landing to Leh Airport through the Mountains will ever last in my memory .
The fear of breathing trouble at such a high altitude always bothered us before this Tour. But we did not faced any major trouble, barring some head ache, some un-easyness. In fact the Tour Manager boastly announced after this tour that this was their one of the Tours, where nobody had to be treated for high altitude sickness, though most of us were Sr. Citizens.
For the Group members I apologize for the Language of Voice over... since I am not very comfortable either in Hindi or in English. However, I will try subtitles ...does not know whether it will work or not.
