The BRUTAL Execution Of Marie Antoinette - The French Queen

During the French Revolution, there were thousands of people who were executed on the guillotine. King Louis XVI was even condemned on the brutal device, but for months after his death his Queen was left in prison to rot. Marie Antoinette was a figure of hatred across France because of the fact she spent huge sums of money when people were suffering. She also had no sympathy at all for people and their plight, but she was held inside tough conditions in prison.

But Marie Antoinette would then be sentenced to death during her trial, and her imprisonment was very tough at the end. She was then brought out to the Place de la Revolution in Paris on the same guillotine that her husband was executed on. It was also the same executioner who performed the job, but as thousands looked on she was strapped to the guillotine.
