👋 Hello, fellow cruisers! It’s Stick Man Steve here, back with another exciting vlog from our 15-day Marella Cruises adventure aboard the beautiful Marella Voyager. Today, we’re diving into Day 9 – our 2nd sea day, and it was packed with relaxation, fun, and some brilliant surprises! 🌟

After a late night of entertainment and dancing, we had a well-deserved lie-in (though I’ll be honest, those soft mattresses are not the best for us firm-mattress lovers! 😅). Despite the lack of sleep, we made the most of the day and captured every moment for you. Let’s take you through it all! 🎥

🍳 A Late Start and a Delicious Breakfast
We kicked off the day with a leisurely brunch at The Kitchens on Deck 11. The variety here is just incredible – from fresh pastries to hearty breakfasts, it’s all cooked to perfection. We’ve rated The Kitchens a solid 5/5 – a must-try if you’re cruising on the Marella Voyager! 🥐🍳

🌞 Relaxation at the Ocean Spa
With our 2-week thermal spa pass, we headed to the Ocean Spa to unwind. The private sunbathing area was the perfect spot to recharge, complete with views of the open sea. Pro tip: You can bring your own food and drinks to the spa’s sunbathing area if you fancy! 🍹☀️

🏌️‍♀️ Fun on Deck 12: Crazy Golf & More
Feeling energised, we explored the top decks, passing by the jogging track, sports court, and sunbathing areas. Then it was time for a bit of competition on the Crazy Golf course. Gemma stole the show with a hole-in-one! Watch the vlog to see who came out on top overall! 😉

🍹 Afternoon Drinks at The Coffee Port
By 2:50 pm, it was time for a refreshing G&T at The Coffee Port, followed by a delicious coffee and tea. The Coffee Port is one of our favourite spots on board – the atmosphere, views, and drinks are just perfect. 🫖☕

🎩 Dress to Impress Night
After a quick change in our cabin (Deck 8, Cabin 8147), we headed to Latitude 53 on Deck 6 for a fabulous evening meal. The “Dress to Impress” menu did not disappoint – delicious food, wonderful service, and all included in your package! 💃🕺

🎶 Evening Entertainment Highlights
The evening entertainment was next-level:

🎤 Live music at The Arts House.

🎷 A reggae band at Squid & Anchor playing classics like Bob Marley and UB40.

🎧 A fantastic silent disco at The Electric Rooms. Two DJs, two genres, one epic night!

The silent disco was a highlight for us – dancing, singing, and laughing the night away. It’s one of those moments that truly makes a cruise holiday unforgettable!
