Sorry this one took a little longer than planned - I really wanted to close out the trio with something that felt powerful and true to his story, so hopefully that comes across. I loved weaving those same lines one last time to another story. I’ve been looking forward to finishing the set, and it feels a little surreal that it’s done now. During the writing process on this one, I suddenly realized I had written a very long ballad again 😅 It told the story beautifully, but lacked the fast-paced energy I was aiming for, so I rewrote it to be much shorter. But the longer version had so much emotion, character detail, and lines I didn’t want to lose-so instead of choosing between them…I made two songs. The Rebel Flame (Extended Version) coming soon!
