After a smooth ride up, it could only be better. Earlier in the day, there was some bad luck with the R46 (Q) earlier and because I had a goal to finish all of my 3rd roundtrips with the R46 (N) (Q) (W) Trains before getting my Switch 2, it made sense to do this. But not only would I complete the 3rd roundtrips on the R46 (Q) and (W) before getting the new system, there would be two Midday GO reroutes that would be caught this week. One of those roundtrips will come tomorrow and the other ride will be shared in a few days. This was a Midday GO reroute that I have wanted to cover for a while and hopefully the other leg of the reroute will come in the near future. But for now, I hope you guys enjoy this journey to the bottom of Manhattan as we start the final week of Switch 1 Era runs. I will also be reflecting on the switch 1 on the (Q) train ride to Coney Island.
