Chasing a critter triggers a trip down memory lane for Niffty. A tribute to an under-appreciated character in Hazbin Hotel, and some speculation about how she ended up in Hell.
I had the idea for this over a year ago, inspired by Paranoid DJ's songs, and started working on it around the same time as my Welcome to the Internet cover. This is my first time writing an original song, and it definitely has its issues, but it's so much more than I thought I was capable of when I started. I purposefully chose the pilot design, just in case my interpretation of the character turns out to be completely different from the actual series.
Fun tidbit: I didn't need to pitch shift the majority of the Ratty squeaks, they were pretty close to the noises I'd make if I find someone moving my stuff without permission.
