A very short video to show the motorised motorbike ramp I made to assist in loading and unloading my Yamaha FJR onto my trailer. While the ramp was a success overall, there were a few minor bugs to be addressed on the day of testing. One of the most important lessons learned was to position the trailer in such a way that it has a slight downward slope to the rear. This greatly assists the process of unloading as it enables the use of gravity to assist in sliding the ramp back and down onto the ground with the bike in place. The Yamaha FJR 1300 weighs 264 Kg - not a light weight. Definitely a risk if attempting to push it up manually using a conventional bike ramp.
