Lifting My Honda Fit/Jazz - GK5 - Stock/Base Testing

Over the next year I plan on lifting my Honda Fit/Jazz 2" inches. I don't want to do anything extreme, I just want something to get around better at more remote campsites. I plan to accomplish this by putting on larger tires, roughly 1" larger in diameter and installing a 1" sub-frame lift kit. I already acquired a set larger tires that will fit on a stock Honda Fit. I will perform these tests once again with the new tires installed and see how much the wheel well gaps have closed. From there we will be adding the 1" sub-frame lift kit and again install one more set of even larger tires on some 15" rims. This last set of larger tires most likely require some modifications to wheel well area to prevent any rubbing.

I briefly mentioned above that we will be going back down to a 15" rim. There are more A/T tire options available in the 15" rim size that would work for the the Honda Fit/Jazz. Most of the 16" A/T tire options are incredibly to large in diameter or width to use on the fit without extreme modifications. Using a 15" rim also gives us more tire that allows us to air down while going off road. (Compressor on board)
A Baja Style front bumper is in the works complete with skid plate and working winch. I was going to work on a back bumper too, but seeing as how it was just replaced recently after an accident I'm going to leave that alone for awhile. The front end is more likely to scrape anyway....
