While filming season 1 of the series, NIGHTLY AFFIRMATIONS, unaware - I had stage four colon cancer brewing in my body. I couldn't figure out why I was so sore, gut issues, and I couldn't sit to edit the show. No Joke - almost impossible to do anything - a lot of back pain and anxiety that stripped me of my energy.
Episode 1 - Tim Kinsellas was filmed in March of 2019. I'm so thankful for Tim and Jenny being patient with me. I'm finally on the UP and healing and beating my cancer naturally.

Starting from the beginning, Nightly Affirmations sits down with a creative to share their APPROACH and PROCESS to starting and finishing their art forms; creating a song, writing a story, dancing, directing a film, drawing a story, etc... The goal is not to only hear how the project was physically made or what tool was used to achieve said goal, but to hear what was trying to be seen or heard, the obstacles that stood in their way, and what it took to see or hear the end.
