Franklin University Switzerland is proud to support Boky Mamiko, a Swiss/Italian NGO founded by Adjunct Professor Rossana Galli, in its mission to improve education and promote sustainable development in Madagascar.
In this video, Professor Galli joins student leaders Bridget Bilger ’25 and Jesse Fioranelli ’26 to share how the Franklin community — through awareness campaigns, fundraising events, and academic travel — has engaged with and supported the work of Boky Mamiko.
From student-led initiatives like the Naman’ny Boky Mamiko Club to on-the-ground experiences in Madagascar, Franklin students are gaining valuable insights into global issues while contributing meaningfully to a grassroots movement focused on local empowerment.
🌱 This story highlights how academic support, student leadership, and real-world engagement can amplify the efforts of a dedicated NGO — and inspire change from the classroom to the community.
