Many people like to blame their inability to retain hair growth to factors like stress, ageing, and genetics, but the truth is that, these are just small factors compare to the possibly major culprit – ‘how you handle and care for your hair’. You’re probably not moisturizing enough. If you've been following my hair journey, you know that I've been struggling with breaking hair growth plateau for almost three years. I was feeling frustrated and discouraged until a few months ago when everything changed. You see, before I broke my hair growth plateau, I used to protective style my hair in mini twists and sometimes mini braids, but I never moisturized while my hair was in this protective style. It wasn't until I started adding moisture to my hair routine that I noticed significant length retention. And trust me, I've mentioned this revelation in many of my past videos.

Maybe you’re thinking that because your hair is already in mini braids protective style you don’t need to moisturize again, but that’s not the case at all! Your hair always needs the moisture to thrive. So start moisturizing your 4c hair in mini braids. Don't procrastinate.
