What do you do when you're Jill Gillette, the Greenwood County, Kansas prosecutor, and you've forgotten to subpoena one crucial witness, and you can't find your other crucial witness?
Do you:
a) Beg for a continuance in the hopes you can corral your witnesses for a pow wow next time?
b) Put what's left of your case on in hopes the defense attorney is sleeping?
or
c) Throw a tantrum when the defense attorney proves he's awake and does his job?
Why, all three of course!
This one comes in two parts. First, they're trying to find probable cause to bind this guy over for trial. Second, his lawyer makes a bond argument.
