Here's some 8mm film of RC flying taking place on Little Haldon (near Teignmouth Golf Club) in the UK. This would have been around 1965 - maybe '66. Most of the models are single channel with rubber driven escapements for control. The few multichannel models are all using Grundig radio equipment. At the end of the movie is a slide show featuring some of the club members and their models.
