Welcome to DrivingCars. Today, we're dissecting the split personality of the 2025 CUPRA Leon Sportstourer e-Hybrid in this no-talking POV test drive. We will push it to its limits: a full 0-100+ km/h acceleration test to see the combined power of petrol and electric, and high-speed highway pulls to test its stability.
The car is quick, responsive, and feels agile thanks to its lightweight engine and instant electric torque. But here's the catch: it also comes with a complex DCC chassis and large 19-inch wheels that can be harsh over imperfections. This is an unfiltered test of whether this car has found the magic balance, or if it's a jack of all trades, master of none.
It wants to beat everything from a Skoda Octavia RS to a Ford Focus ST Wagon. Does it succeed?
