We again attended the recent Steel City Con here in Pittsburgh, PA. This round we were fortunate enough to have two big names from Star Trek with Michael Dorn, TNG & DS9's Worf, and Terry Farrell, DS9's Jadzia Dax. They were both very pleasant and welcoming people when we spoke to them at their autograph booths. Dorn filled us in on a Worf Star Trek series that he's hoping to get produced. Terry Farrell revealed that she's a Doctor Who nerd when she saw a friend of ours cosplayed as Matt Smith. Interesting as her character Dax from DS9 is also an alien that has experienced several different lifetimes. We then sat in on their Q&A and it was really cool to see the two of them playing off of each other.
We have to apologize for the quality of the video. It was recorded by cell phone and the area was crammed with people moving around a bit. We are totally non profit and just wish to share our geeky interests.
