In this video, I demonstrate an automatic vehicle backlight system that controls stop (brake) light and pass (overtake) light using an ultrasonic sensor.
The system measures the distance of objects behind the vehicle and automatically activates the backlight to improve road safety and driver awareness.
When another vehicle comes too close, the stop light turns ON automatically. If the distance is safe, the pass light operates normally. This project is designed using basic electronics and a microcontroller, making it ideal for students and beginners.
