Toxicant XM5 Bolt Comparison – Modified vs. Stock! FPS & Consistency Test

In this video, I compare the modified bolt of my Toxicant XM5 to the stock bolt that comes with the replica. I decided to upgrade my bolt by installing a Guns Modify Nozzle and a Federal Concepts NPAS to allow for adjustable FPS control. However, the process was far from smooth…

While attempting the install, we discovered that the screws were glued in place rather than using normal threadlock, which led to the bolts getting stripped. This meant drilling them out, a process that took two weeks and left me seriously worried that my $1600 airsoft rifle would be reduced to a wall hanger. Thankfully, my friend managed to complete the installation, allowing me to fine-tune the FPS for different game settings.

Fortunately, Toxicant sent me a brand-new bolt, so now I can compare both! In this video, I use a chronograph to measure FPS and shot consistency while firing a full magazine in semi-auto.
