The ULTIMATE Layover in Abu Dhabi

Experience the ultimate layover in Abu Dhabi with a visit to the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and a taste of Michelin Bib Gourmand cuisine. This Abu Dhabi vlog will show you the best of what the city has to offer during a short stay!

After landing super early in the morning, we head to Michelin Bib rated Al Mrzab Traditional Restaurant for some delicious tea and traditional Emirati breakfast, balaleet!

Next we head to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the most stunning buildings in the world! The entrance is through an underground mall where we buy an abaya for around $14 to cover my head and ankles for the mosque visit! The mosque is breathtaking and we actually took two free tours to take in the gorgeous chandeliers and walk on the world's largest handmade rug.

Next we visit Qasr al Watan, the presidential palace to take in the incredible architecture and design!

Meylas Emirati Restaurant is our final food stop for some more Michelin recognized local goodness, including finally trying emirati dates, Machboos, and laban maleh!

Our final stop is Yas Mall on Yas Island! We see Ferrari World, Warner Brothers World, and the Formula 1 Circuit on the drive over. Back at the airport we enjoy a shower, snacks and a nap in the lounge after an exhausting day.

Such a fun taste of Abu Dhabi! Can't wait to see more of this country some day!
