A different view of the race using my old trusty GoPro Hero 4 - Old technology but it works! I overlayed the data from my Kenwood STZ-RF200WD, my Telemetry Overlay software can only use some of the data - so just a prof of concept to help me decide what I want to use in the future.
A bad start - looked like a false wave from the starter, I think the flag moved in the wind before he raised it. I accelerated, backed off, then back on... but it looks like some of the Rush's behind me got by me (also hit the rev limiter). I'm consistently faster than a Rush, but they are very different than a FF or FC on the track. We are a 'momentum' race car - they are short wheelbase motorcycle engined almost go cart like. Trick will be to out qualify them, not let them by at the start... but being armature racing I tend to take the first few turns with a bit of caution (wings are expensive!).
