Introducing the new monthly mix series, founded by Hull-based DJ Cookie Tee, the WUBS (Women United By Sound) series aims to unite, uplift, and highlight the incredible women within the bass music scene.

While representation has undoubtedly improved in recent years, this is only part of the equation. It is clear that women in our scene still face challenges, and there is always room for continued progress. This is why I decided to start this series and give these women an extra place to be heard!

This series will feature a carefully curated selection of talented DJs, ranging from emerging artists who deserve greater recognition, to more established DJs who are already hosting radio shows, streams, performing at events, and touring the globe. These women deserve both respect and recognition for their dedication and contribution to the craft.

The love of Drum and Bass unites this collective of talented women, but the DnB Girls don't stop there! They also express their creativity, celebrate diversity, and push boundaries.

Introducing my very first guest Norty! (if you don't know norty, get to know!)

DJ Norty is a talented drum & bass DJ based in London. As a label assistant for DNB Lab and a resident DJ for Yeno Tha Soundsystem, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the scene, performing across the UK and making a notable debut at Boomtown last year. Recently, Norty has ventured into production, and listeners may even get an exclusive preview of one of her tracks in this mix. The set is a high-energy display of her technical skills, seamlessly blending a dynamic fusion of dancefloor, jump-up, and neurofunk styles, featuring heavy-hitting tracks, infectious melodies, and powerful drops.
