The Dark Side of TikTok's Beauty Culture

This is a video essay about the toxic SKIN CARE, BEAUTY and GLOW UP advice dominating TikTok and its impact on women's self-esteem and mental health. 🌟
Some of these trends promote unrealistic beauty standards and viral trends can lead to harmful skincare practices and body image issues which has been found by may recent studies and is what has inspired me to make this video.

It explores the pressure women face online to achieve flawless skin and the obsession with achieving the perfect "glow up."

Personally, I believe it is VERY important to also value what real women look like , what real life looks like and celebrate that!!!! That is essentially what this channel is about. I like to explore and ask questions about what seems to have become `normal` online behaviour.
