MONTE VIDEO ~ Songs from the album "Chronicles" (aorheart) Sharone, Ralf Rudnik

There were some TOP "cover" bands active here in the East of the Netherlands in the 80s and 90s, such as PPM, TRIP TO TRIP, FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS and MONTE VIDEO from Germany. This was best known as a showcase tribute band mainly within the Netherlands and Germany, but also internationally, among other things, the official song for the Australian Open '90 on RTL - "Starlight". The first release was in 1988 under the artist name SHARONE. In 1989 re-released as single "Starlight" under the artist name MONTEVIDEO. With very nice Synth-Poprock / AOR songs !
Band members ... Uwe Hess (vocals), Christof Jentgens (keyboards), Reiner Sandkaulen† (bass), Manfred Schermuly (drums), Ralf Rudnik (guitar). Their Home Base was Mönchengladbach in Germany. Ralf (Ralle) Rudnik has written many songs for third parties and collaborated with the Producer of MONTE VIDEO and guitarist Ralph LeROUX for his project LeROUX with whom a great AOR CD has been made with own songs written by Ralf Rudnik and cover songs. And on the CD Various – WEGBERG ROCKT AB (Label: LeROUX Records) you can hear some of the songs.
These 3 songs from MONTE VIDEO which you can listen to here are from their ultra rare album "Chronicles" 1995. I think this is the first time you can listen to them on YouTube ! You can find more songs from the band on my Youtube Channel. There is also the song "Without Your Love" in another older version of the Vinyl Single.
