The former DM&IR is well known for its fleet of EMDs, classic iron ore cars, and tunnel motors that used to rule the rails on its routes. In recent years, EMD power has slowly been getting replaced by newer C40-8s. The three units put on a nice show as it ran on the former Missabe mainline. Additionally, the entire train was made up classic DM&IR ore jennies, something that is slowly becoming a thing of the past.
The video starts off near Saginaw with the trio leaning into the curve, and heading towards the mines. After that, we'll see them at Culver, Kelsey, and a few other places.
