A second look at our January trip to the North East of England with a few glimpses of our wanderings. First we visit the Cragside Estate, a Victorian Home and garden. This was the worlds first home to be illuminated by Hydro Electric power. We next take a ride to Tynemouth as its name implies at the mouth of the river Tyne. A walk from the city centre to the quayside in Newcastle is next. The glass covered Sage concert hall catches the sun on the Gateshead side of the river. Finally we make a stop at Housesteads Fort on the wall built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian at the limit of his empire.
