Gold panning on the North Saskatchewan River. With some crayfish as guests. One good thing about digging holes and filling it in with rocks is it gives crayfish habitat and panning releases food for them too. Too often gold panning gets a bad wrap but in this case it does good for mother nature. There was some lead found some gold too and I even managed to find broken glass all of which was removed making the place even better and more pure. When you go out please try to make the place better than what you found it. If we all do that, the next generation will know where the gold has been removed by the lack of garbage.
