This is my new twin-cylinder, double acting steam engine that I've designed and built from readily available materials. Boiler is a 680 ml can of tomato juice. Burner is a brass tube capped at both ends and drilled with about 20 small holes. Pistons are 9/16 inch brass bushings. Cylinders are 5/8 O.D. brass tubes from the local hobby shop. The rest is made with 3/16 and 1/8 inch brass rod, brass plates, all soldered together using a good quality soldering iron and propane torch. Base plate a a ceramic tile. Operating pressure is 2 to 15 psi.
