Ingredients:

For samosa sheet:
2 Cup maida
Salt to Taste
1 tb oil
Water to taste

For Stuffing:
1 Cup onion
Fried piece
1 tb chilli powder
Salt
1/4 ts turmeric powder
1/2 ts cumin powder
1 ts sugar

For maida paste:
2 ts maida
Water

Recipe:

In a mixing bowl take flour,oil,salt and water. Knead into a smooth dough. Rest it for some times. Knead again. Make equal sized balls from the dough.Roll the balls a thin roti. Heat a tawa and place the prepared roti. Cook for 10 secs on each side.Remove from heat. Repeat this with rest of the dough. Take all the prepared rotis, cut off from all 4 sides to get square shaped sheets. Now cut at the center to make rectangular samosa patty sheets. Deep fry the waste pieces for Stuffing and keep aside. Now prepare the stuffing by adding all the ingredients for Stuffing and mix well. Prepare a paste to seal the samosa patty by mixing maida with water. It should be thick.To prepare the samosa, take a sheet, fold and make a cone shape. There should be a triangular cavity to fill the stuffing.Place 1-2 spoon of prepared onion stuffing. On edges, apply the paste to seal the edges. Close the samosa and deep fry them.Fry on low- medium flame until the the samosa are golden brown and crispy. Repeat this with rest of the samosa. Serve hot with tea, masala tea or coffee as your choice.
