I LOVED recording my take on this gem released by The Mamas and the Papas in 1965. This is just one of the many sonic masterpieces that were coming out of that quaint but legendary California neighborhood known as Laurel Canyon, quietly nestled in the hills overlooking Los Angeles at the height of the hippie movement. To this day, 60 years later, California Dreamin’ continues to be one of greatest songs ever created!! Please enjoy!
