My demonstrations are done in smaller sizes, allowing the viewer to get in closer to the painting and better see my techniques. The same techniques I use on all of my large paintings.
Most of my videos are intended to show my favorite techniques, brushes, pens, papers and the different ways I use them. They are not a finished work of art but a demonstration of my processes, styles and just how much fun you can have with watercolor. They are suitable for beginners seasoned artists alike.
Pen: Uni-ball Micro pen.
Paint: Winsor: Newton Sap Green, Burnt Sienna, Ultramarine, Sepia, Yellow Ochre
da Vinci: Quinacridone Fuchsia and Phthalo Blue.
This is my usual "on the go" palette but it can change to fit the subject.
Paper:
Arches 140lb hot press, Natural white.
A top quality, cotton rag paper
that handles pen and wash very well.
