Little Grebe Parents were into their second week of incubation. Both parents were taking turns, but at times, the eggs were left unattended, with care taken to camouflage the eggs before the parent left. The nest was continuously being maintained, with nesting material added each time the parent returned.
Incubation in Little Grebes takes an average of 20-25 days.
Little Grebes are very rare residents of Singapore.
