In terms of meta, we're seeing Pos 4 Soft Support heroes try to play both worlds: they have to be both great in the lane but also not fall behind in levels. They have to be able to enable the Core Offlaner but also not get in his way and pull the creeps. They have to be able to roam and gank a lot but also be able to farm with relative speed and ease. There are very few heroes that align with all those capabilities but nonetheless, that's why they're the best right now to play 7.36c. Heroes like Hoodwink, Spirit Breaker and Weaver are so difficult to handle and yet farm so well if the pace of the match slows down whereas heroes like Rubick and Snapfire can output damage, either magic or physical, like no tomorrow.
