Spear vs Maille and Shield from Gladiatoria

Today we conduct an experiment with a thrown spear against riveted maille armor and against a wooden shield. These tests are based on parts of the spear section of the 1440 Gladiatoria fight book:

As always, our swords and other weapons are entirely made by us, by hand, at our shop in Minneapolis, MN. Sword blades are hand ground of 6150 carbon steel, hardened and tempered to 50-52 Rockwell.
