In this video, I’m flushing out the old coolant from my car’s cooling system using deionised water to remove any leftover contaminants and residue. After filling with deionised water, I let the engine heat up to open the thermostat, ensuring the flush circulates through the entire system.
Once that’s done, I’ll drain the system again and refill it with pre-mixed G48 coolant, which provides the right level of protection and corrosion resistance for this engine.
This process helps keep the cooling system clean, improves temperature regulation, and extends the life of key components like the water pump and radiator.
