Day 3 unfolded like a long, immersive journey through the raw heart of Meghalaya. The roar of the Seven Sisters Falls set the tone—powerful, wide, and unstoppable. From there, the mood shifted inside Arwah Cave, where narrow paths, ancient rock formations, and faint natural light created a quiet, almost surreal atmosphere.
The Garden of Caves was different from anything else—open cave pockets connected by muddy trails, shallow blue-green streams flowing through rock beds, natural stone pools, hanging roots, and soft grass growing where sunlight touched the ground. You had to step carefully over wet rocks and water channels, moving slowly, fully present. It felt untouched, raw, and alive.
The day continued with the sheer force of Kynrem Falls, dropping endlessly through layers of forest, and finally slowed down at Umiam Lake, where the still water and open sky brought calm after a long day. Day 3 wasn’t rushed—it was about observing, absorbing, and letting Meghalaya leave its mark, quietly but deeply.
