Mahindra multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Mahindra Marazzo has apparently been inspired by a shark of the same name, with some shark like design elements thrown in, like the supposed teeth in the grille, to the fin shaped tail lamps and a shark gin antenna.
The Marazzo is built with a body-on-frame layout and comes with a transverse-mounted engine and front-wheel drive (like the Mahindra XUV500).

At this price point the Marazzo clearly undercuts the Toyota Innova Crysta, which is its main rival, with prices ranging between Rs 14.33 lakh and Rs 22.7 lakh. It also competes with seven seaters like the Maruti Ertiga, Renault Lodgy and Honda BR-V in a similar price segment, but is much larger and heavier than these vehicles. It is also slightly cheaper than the similarly sized Tata Hexa, which is priced between Rs 12.49 lakh and Rs 17.9 lakh.

An automatic transmission and petrol engine option will be available only in 2020. It currently meets BS IV emission standards, which will be updated to BS VI in 2020.
