How to Use Screener for a quick analysis of Company Financials

In this video we try to understand how we can use screener to find out relevant data on any company, especially when we are starting out.

Pick a company
Pick relevant data from screener - create a checklist on what data should be picked up

Here are some key pointers to look for

1) Latest Market Cap, Sales, EBITDA and Net Profit
2) 10 year and 5 year CAGR in Sales and Profits
3) Cash Flows from Operations, Investing and Financing
4) Total Balance Sheet size - Total Assets
5) Borrowings and details about those
6) Any number that is large - receivables, inventory, fixed asset
7) Working Capital
8) Trends in numbers - how are sales / profits / cash flows / margins moving
9) Key Ratios - OPM, NPM, D/E, ROE etc
10) Key Documents - Annual Reports, Earnings Transcipts
11) Shareholding patterns and any key changes in that
