This video exists for one reason:
to help you take the first real step toward unlocking what AI is actually capable of.
I’m not an expert.
I’m not a coder by trade.
What I am is relentless in my effort to learn, test, and uncover tools and knowledge that can genuinely empower us to grow — financially, professionally, and personally.
In this video, I walk you through installing Linux (WSL + Ubuntu) on a Windows machine, step by step, and explain why putting AI inside the Linux terminal — and then inside an IDE like VS Code or Cursor — changes everything.
Most people experience AI through a browser tab or a desktop app.
That experience is fine… but it’s extremely limited.
Once you run AI inside the terminal, with real access to tools like:
curl (API calls)
Node.js
Python
system files
project folders
IDE workflows
…you quickly realize that most “AI apps” are just sandboxes in a wrapper.
Here is my rough guide in Google Docs https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_...
This video is not flashy.
It’s not hype.
It’s a real, practical explainer meant to demystify something that looks intimidating at first — especially if you’ve always thought “IDEs and terminals are for coders, not people like me.”
I used to think that too.
With a little guidance and a bit of patience, this opens up fast — and when it does, it becomes incredibly powerful and inspiring.
What you’ll see in this video:
How to install WSL + Ubuntu on Windows
Why Linux matters for serious AI use
Installing core tools (curl, Node.js, Python)
Authenticating Claude directly in the terminal
Connecting AI to an IDE (VS Code)
A simple demo showing AI creating files and interacting with the web
This is not about perfection.
It’s about momentum.
This is my best effort right now, shared openly, because I believe access to this knowledge can change what’s possible for regular people — not just developers or big companies.
If you’re willing to learn, experiment, and build imperfectly, this is the beginning of a very powerful path.
This video is step one.
If you have questions, ask them.
If something feels overwhelming, slow it down.
And if this helps you even a little — stick around. There’s much more coming.
Let’s get to work.
