Our Pre-Cruise Adventures in Southampton, England

Southampton, England is a port city on England's south coast. It is also where Mrs. Karnes & Me will begin a brand new 10 day adventure cruise through the Norwegian Fjords on the Norwegian Prima.
Today's video is all about our pre-cruise adventure in Southampton, England. We arrived in London, England some 6 1/2 hours after leaving from New York. After making our way through London, England's Heathrow International Airport. We then took a car the 80 miles to Southampton. We are staying at the Harbour Hotel Southampton. This hotel was named as one of the UK's best hotels by Conde Nast Traveller 2023 and I can say, I see why! This hotel was so nice! The staff set the tone at check-in. Our room was even upgraded to a Jr. Suite and was very spacious and comfy. Our dinner at the 6th floor Har-Bar was also delicious with fantastic views!
We had planned to tour around Southampton and see all the sights but alas, JET LAG is a REAL thing! We ended up just walking around the neighborhood the hotel was in and visiting a few shops. We called it an early evening, going to bed even before the sun went down.
After a wonderful nights sleep we awoke refreshed and ready to travel! We were back!
This was a wonderful day, despite the jet-lag, and we are off to a great start on this International Adventure!
