Flow's (Stunning) Mullet X - Hands on with the prototypes

The MulletX will stun you with it's Xtra speed, Xtra dive, Xtra fun. They should've called it the Mullet XXX.

We got our hands on a few pre-production prototypes in sizes 20.5, 17.5 and 15 as well as Mullet 15 with pro risers.
Some impressions after a few flights: The original Mullet is more agile and turns faster than the Moustache and now the pro risers on the Mullet 15 give it a lot more dive than the standard risers making it similar in that respect to the Moustache. The Mullet transfers more of the feel of the air than the Moustache and feels more connected to the wing.

The MulletX has different rigging, profile and shorter lines and feels like a different wing than the Mullet. Seems faster than the Mullet but not as agile and more like a Moustache in other respects. Each size has a different feel due to the wind strength you're flying in and the larger ones obviously aren't as nimble. Despite that, I most enjoyed the larger 20.5 in the conditions we were flying in. All great wings and so much FUN!

These wings are insanely fun if you're used to regular paragliders. But, as difficult as it is, resist the urge to send to hard too quickly. These wings move fast and there's isn't as much time as on a normal paraglider before you involuntarily start exploring the submarine aspect of the wing. Also make sure you get a harness that you can easily get into because you won't have your hands available once airborne.
