The Barn Owl holds a unique and mysterious allure for Irish people. It is one of our most iconic birds, and it is easy to see why this is the case. Here we provide an intimate view of this special species, showing why they are so popular in Ireland and some of the conservation efforts on behalf of BirdWatch Ireland to help protect their population. The production of this video is funded by the Heritage Council and Dublin Zoo, thanks to Crossing the Line for providing footage of breeding Barn Owls in Ireland and to Crow Crag who produced the video.
