Have you ever wondered what a French rival to the McMerc SLR would look like? Well, look no further than the Peugeot 907, a super-GT concept car that was unveiled over a decade ago.
The Peugeot 907 was designed to showcase Peugeot's attention to detail in design, and it did just that. The car was fashioned from carbon fibre and boasted not one, but two 3.0-litre V6 engines spliced together behind its front axle line, capable of producing 500bhp and 443lb ft of torque.
But the 907 wasn't just about performance. The car's design was its main focus, and it showed. The bonnet's clear section exposed twelve intake trumpets for the 6.0-litre engine, a nod to classic Ferraris like the 250 GTO.
Unfortunately, the Peugeot 907 never stood a chance of being put into production, and the design language it inspired has since been consigned to Peugeot's history. However, the 907 remains a testament to Peugeot's ambition and design prowess.
Check out this rare gem of a concept car and marvel at Peugeot's attention to detail in design.
