A federal judge has ruled that the Trump administration can go ahead with imposing a $100,000 fee on new H-1B visa applications. The decision is a setback for US tech companies that rely on hiring skilled foreign workers.

The Trump administration has imposed visa sanctions on former EU Commissioner Thierry Breton and four other people for trying to make American tech companies police political speech.
