Captured with the SVBONY SV705C uncooled sensor and the Sky-Watcher 50ED, this deep-sky project reveals the glowing hydrogen gas and star-forming regions inside one of the most stunning emission nebulae in Cassiopeia.
Despite the challenges of using an uncooled planetary camera, hours of integration and narrowband filtering brought out the nebula’s incredible detail. The Soul Nebula lies about 7,500 light years away, next to its famous neighbor, the Heart Nebula.
