On today's Barsana pilgrimage, we will take you to the divine and ethereal place where Shri Radharani still comes to play with her eight companions. This is the sacred place where Kirti Mata worshipped Lord Narayana and prayed for Radharani as her daughter. This is known as Kirti Mata's place of penance, and this forest is known as Padar Van.
Many scriptures mention the 12 forests and 24 groves of Braj, where Lord Krishna and Radharani performed numerous divine pastimes. Padar Van is one of these 24 groves! Kirti Mata used to come here to worship Lord Narayana, and later she would bring Radharani with her. Kirti Mata would be busy with her prayers and rituals, while Radharani would play in this forest with her friends. Therefore, it is also known as Radharani's playground.
