Catfish in the Sky performs at the JFK Library for the 2025 May Dinner and Profile in Courage Award

Catfish in the Sky performs at the JFK Library Foundation’s May Dinner and Profile in Courage Award Ceremony on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Catfish in the Sky is an eclectic roots and Americana band from the Berklee College of Music featuring Ruth Shumway on fiddle, Sammy Wetstein on cello, Owen Miller on cajon, and Sho Humphries on ukulele. They believe in the power of music to cross cultural divides and genre boundaries in order to bring people together. In that spirit, their performance includes a medley of traditional American fiddle tunes called "Bonaparte the Squirrel Fisher" followed by an original composition entitled "Year’s End."
